The Solvay Innovation Trophy offers an opportunity to turn the spotlight on the most innovative ideas and minds in the Group.
A number of awarded innovations are now contributing to the business processes.

Organized every three years, the Trophy includes 6 categories, giving to all employees an opportunity to highlight the most innovative ideas and minds in the Group.

• New business: development of new products, markets and services, or creating new applications and companies
   
• Customer-oriented projects: e-commerce and customer relations management
   
• Performance improvement: improving the results of products, services and processes
   
• Management improvement: improving leadership, policies and strategies, human resources management, management of resources, partnerships and processes
   
• Sustainable development and citizenship based on the three cornerstones – economic, social and environmental – of sustainable development
   
• Replicated Innovations covering all projects that could be applied in other Group entities

The next Solvay Innovation Trophy will take place in 2013.
