Our offering

The chlorovinyls cluster was created in 2012 to maximize returns from the entire integrated chlorovinylic chain by making the most of its products and coproducts (including chlorine, caustic soda, and chlorine derivatives) in various sectors. This cluster operates through several activities, including SolVin and Chlor chemicals.
SolVin covers the entire chlorine production chain including SolVin® PVC polymers and Vinyloop® recycled PVC. This joint venture held in partnership with BASF (with Solvay maintaining 75 percent) has seven production sites in Europe, primarily serving the building and construction markets.
To meet growing demand, we started work on a world-class integrated plant in 2012 in Russia, which we co-own with the SIBUR group.
