The Cogegum® series of ambient-cure, cross-linkable Halogen Free Fire Retardant compounds are specially developed for wire and cable insulation and sheathing applications that require wide working temperatures, RoHS compliance, and resistance to oil, fuels, alkaline, acids, drilling mud and fluids.

Cogegum® XLPO grades allow fast curing in ambient moisture, are ready-to-use on conventional lines and offer excellent resistance to oil, fuels, alkaline, acids, drilling mud and fluids. They are ideally suited for applications requiring high thermal endurance, weathering and RoHS compliance.

Applications

Cogegum® XLPO-HFFR Product Grades
Cogegum® GFR/320Silane cross-linkable, ambient-curing, Halogen Free Fire Retardant (LS0H-FR) insulation grade FR-XLPE, for increased heat-resistant cables performing good oil resistance and outstanding electrical properties in wet conditions (suitable for UL44 and UL758 XL type, up to 125C Dry UL1581 and 90C Wet).
Cogegum® GFR/325Cross-linkable, ambient-curing, low smoke Halogen Free Fire Retardant (LS0H-FR) Insulation grade,performing high flame and hot deformation resistance; Special grade for EI5 application; Building wire H07Z; BS7211; Fire survivor cable, etc.
Cogegum® GFR/340Silane cross-linkable, ambient-curing, Halogen Free Fire Retardant (LS0H-FR) insulation and sheathing grade, for increased heat-resistant cables working at severe temperature conditions, due to environmental characteristics or due to the heat generated by the electric device itself.
Cogegum® GFR/340-HPCross-linkable, ambient-curing, Halogen Free Fire Retardant (LS0H-FR) insulation and sheathing grade, for increased temperature applications; Outstanding hot deformation resistance; Good flame retardancy; Main applications refer to PV, heat resistant and specialty fire retardant cable.
Cogegum® GFR/350Silane cross-linkable, ambient-curing, Halogen Free Fire Retardant (LS0H-FR) insulation and sheathing grade having ,performing high flame and hot deformation resistance along with good flexibility.
