The company will be at the Plury booth, run by its distributor, on street 9, R15
São Paulo, August 4th 2014 – At Food Ingredients South America (FISA) 2014, from August 5 to 7, at ExpoCenter Norte, in São Paulo, Brazil, Rhodia will introduce technologies and products from the Solvay group’s Aroma Performance global business unit, which is a global leader in the production of vanillin and Ethyl-vanillin, used in the formulation of various products in the food sector. The company will be at the booth run by its distributor, Plury – which is celebrating 25 years on the Brazilian market – on street 9, booth R15.
“Our aim with distributor Plury is to build our relationship with the market, providing solutions that add value to food products,” says Alessandro Chiovato, director of Solvay Aroma Performance Latin America. The range of products includes Rhovanil®, the company’s flagship in the food segment, Rhovanil® Natural, which has become a benchmark in natural vanillin, Rhodiarome®, a strong brand in flavors and fragrances, and Govanil™, the latest generation of vanilla flavors.
Creating flavors and fragrances from vanillin (vanilla) since 1884, Solvay Aroma Performance was the first one to synthesize and produce the vanillin molecule on an industrial scale. The Solvay Group is the only producer to proudly master the entire production chain – from catechol through its main brands, Rhovanil ® and Rhodiarome ® - in each of its facilities, in Saint-Fons (France) and Baton Rouge (USA), and it will shortly be operating in Zhenjiang (China). All its vanillin and ethyl-vanillin flavors and fragrance production lines are Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 certified, a global standard that attests to the safety of the products manufactured by Solvay.
