Solvay & REACH

We commit to fulfill REACH obligations for all our products and their applications through their activities of production, importation, marketing and use, according to the REACH timeline. In 2010 and 2013, Solvay (Solvay and Rhodia) successfully completed the 1st and 2nd REACH registration phases.
The 3rd (2nd) registration phase of REACH is on track. This phase involves chemical substances produced or imported in quantities between 1 and 100 T/Y (100 and 1000 tons/year) and has May 31, 2018 (2013) as a registration deadline. This concerns about 400 substances (on the one hand, around 60 dossiers covering about 56 Solvay substances on the other hand, around 130 dossiers for 126 Rhodia substances) .
