For Solvay, Innovation is the key to growth and to constantly improving competitiveness.

The innovation program focuses among other things on enhancing the Group’s commitment to Innovation at all levels (see Innovation and Strategy). Specifically, it gives strong support to New Business Development and its related strategic platforms. Innovative projects (see Applied Innovation) in the three Sectors are monitored and shared. They are especially highlighted during the Solvay Innovation Trophy, a powerful tool for employee motivation and commitment towards the Group’s growth objectives.
