Fluorolink® A10-P is a dialkyl amide PFPE derivative. It is especially designed for use as a polymer additive and can be compounded with thermoplastic and elastomeric materials to provide:
- Low coefficient of friction (no stick-slip effect, noise reduction, anti-squeak properties)
- Improved wear and abrasion resistance (leading to an extended working life)
- Better chemical resistance
- Water/oil and stain repellency
- Improved surface smoothness and gloss
All these benefits can be obtained without changing the bulk properties of the host material such as mechanical properties, color, etc. The addition of about 0.5 – 5 % w/w of Fluorolink® A10-P has demonstrated to enhance all surface properties of host materials such as:
- Engineering thermoplastics (PolyAmides, PolyOxymethylene, PolyEsthers, Polyolefins and others)
- Elastomers (EPDM, NBR, HNBR, Polyurethane based elastomers and others)
- Thermoplastic elastomers (Styrenics, Polyurethane based TPE, Copolyesters, Polyolefin Blends (TPO), Dinamically Vulcanized Polyolefin alloys (TPV, TPSiV), polyamide block copolymer)
Fluorolink® A10-P is usually used:
- In thermoplastic parts subjected to wear such as gears, sliding-chain conveyors
- In sealing systems like door seals to reduce stick-slip and noise emission
- In portable and wearable devices (such as watch bands, protective smartphone cases, cable jackets, camera grips, soft-touch overmolding and others) to improve cleanability and removal of stains as well as develop soft touch feeling
- In rubber rolls to reduce friction
- In fibers to reduce the CoF and improve the water repellency and soil release, etc.

Fluorolink® AD1700 is a solution of a PFPE-tetraurethane acrylate in a mixture of ethyl acetate and butyl acetate (1:1 by weight).
Fluorolink® AD1700 is particularly suitable to be used as a surface modifying additive in acrylic UV-curable coatings and paints: in fact, thanks to its tendency to migrate to the air-coating interface, it lowers the surface tension of the cured coating imparting outstanding water/oil repellency, antigraffiti and antifingerprint properties.

Fluorolink® E10-H is a dialcohol terminated, ethoxylated PFPE. Thanks to its functional hydroxyl end-groups, can be used to modify polymers such as urethanes, esters, epoxies and acrylates.
Fluorolink® E10-H is especially suitable as a building block and polymer modifier for those applications that require a combination of excellent water and oil repellency, easy removal of graffiti and fingerprints, low friction, low refractive index and high chemical resistance.

Fluorolink® MD700 is a bifunctional PFPE-urethane methacrylate.
When used as the main component of a photocurable formulation, Fluorolink® MD700 is suitable as an oligomer for producing low optical loss polymeric waveguides and cladding of optical fibres.
Fluorolink® MD700 can also be used as a surface modifying additive in acrylic UV-curable systems: in fact, thanks to its tendency to migrate to the air-coating interface, Fluorolink® MD700 imparts outstanding water/oil repellency, antigraffiti and antifingerprint properties.

Fluorolink® P54 is a waterborne formulation containing a PFPE phosphate derivative that imparts oil and grease repellence to the treated surfaces. Fluorolink® P54 can be used as such or it can be further diluted with water to the proper concentration of use. The recommended storage temperature is 4 – 40 °C. Fluorolink® P54 should not be allowed to freeze.

Fluorolink® P56 is a waterborne dispersion of an anionic polyurethane based on a PFPE backbone. It has been developed in particular to impart water and oil repellency and stain release properties to the treated surfaces.
The surfaces treated with Fluorolink® P56 show exceptional water and oil repellency and easy cleanability versus common staining agents. The staining agents can be easily removed with water or common cleaning products. The protective treatment does not modify the aesthetic characteristics of the treated surfaces.
Fluorolink® P56 can be used as such or in formulation; it can be further diluted with water to the proper concentration of use with the recommendation to shake the dispersion before use in order to reduce the possibility of partial settling.

Fluorolink® PEG45 has an excellent compatibility with hydrogenated monomers and, thanks to its functional hydroxyl end-groups, can be used to modify polyurethanes, polyesters and epoxies.
Small amounts (0.5–2.0% w/w) are effective to improve the surface properties of hydrogenated coatings and materials: typically the water and oil repellence, anti-smudge, and friction.

Fomblin® FE 20C is a hydroalcoholic perfluoropolyether microemulsion, indefinitely stable within a defined range of temperature and concentration. Its stability however, is limited from 5 °C to 60 °C. Fomblin® FE 20C can be diluted down to 0.5 %, by weight of Fomblin® PFPE, without phase separation. If phase separation occurs from temperature change (e.g. outside storage) the emulsions will spontaneously re-disperse when brought back within the stable temperature range.
Fomblin® FE 20C microemulsion represents a very effective, environmentally safe and economical way of conveying the exceptional properties of liquid fluoropolymers to a variety of surfaces like metals, plastics, glass fibers etc. Benefits include improvement in chemical resistance, increased oil and water repellency release properties and a greater lubricity to the treated surface.
