Technical Sales Manager

About the role

  • Our Coatis commercial team, composed of 5 people, is integrated in the COATIS GBU and focuses on Asia market in collaboration with global teams in Brazil.
  • As a Technical sales manager, you will ensure the maximization of profitability and market share growth for polyamide and solvent business. You will get the opportunity to implement supply contracts, ensuring long-term sales volumes.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • Managing development projects especially for textile polyamide business
    • Working with global team to support customers in the trials for approval of our polyamide products.
    • Managing commercial activities and achieving sales targets of specialty solvents, polyamide and phenol derivatives
    • Building a strong network in polyamide market
    • Collecting market intelligence on regular basis
  • We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid / travel working mode.

About you

  • Bachelor degree (minimum) with engineering background. Polymer, material, chemical fiber or textile related majors are preferred.
  • Relevant work experience in polymer (polyamide is a plus), chemical fiber or textile industry with technical fundamentals.
  • Strong value selling and communication skills
  • Fluent English both writing and speaking
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and willing to travel

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the China base pay reasonably expected for this role is 304,960 to 381,200, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
