About the role

  • Our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department is focused on ensuring the highest standards for our products.
  • As a HSE Engineer is to drive safety excellence and environmental compliance within our manufacturing operations. This role requires a technical approach to hazard identification, risk assessment, and the implementation of engineering controls. You will be responsible for overseeing industrial hygiene programs, managing wastewater compliance, and performing rigorous field audits to ensure the safety of our plant personnel.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • Safety Engineering & Data Analysis: Design and implement safety policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA), while interpreting complex technical data and safety KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
    • Field Auditing: Conduct regular HSE field audits and safety evaluations to identify hazards and recommend engineering controls or process changes.
    • Industrial Hygiene: Lead Industrial Hygiene (IH) monitoring campaigns, analyzing exposure data and recommending mitigation strategies.
    • Environmental Compliance: Manage the facility’s environmental programs, including the collection and analysis of wastewater and solid waste samples.
    • Incident Management: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and near-misses, utilizing engineering principles to prevent recurrence.
  • We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.

 

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Industrial, or Safety Engineering preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing or chemical plant environment.
  • Certification (CSP, CIH, or CHMM) is a plus.
  • Competencies:
    • Strong technical understanding of process safety and environmental management systems.
    • Ability to obtain routine environmental wastewater and solid waste samples.
    • Ability to perform IH sampling, safety evaluations of activities and HSE field audits.

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $89,000 to $98,500 yearly, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
