We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity, the Business Development Manager can be located anywhere in the Northeast of the U.S. or a home office.
Actizone™ is an innovation Business which started as an Incubator 4 years ago to solve a major unmet consumer need of lasting disinfection. Our goal is to develop and market products with this new and proprietary technology to SAVE LIFES and PROTECT users. Actizone™ shall contribute to a significant reduction of Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAI), improve hygiene and safety of food production and improve hygiene management in all institutional business segments as well as in our homes. Actizone™ protects the treated surfaces from re-contamination with bacteria, spors and virus pathogens and hence prevents transmission to keep patients, employees, workers and consumers safe. Key goal of the role
Development of the Actizone™ Healthcare business in North America in close cooperation with the Actizone™ Management team based on a direct to market business model. The market space includes the nursing home market as well as the animal health market.
Key missions
- Development of a detailed value generation model for the healthcare providers
- Acquisition of field tests with renowned University hospitals/hospital systems, healthcare providers, nursing homes and animal health centers to generate real-life data on Actizone™ performance and proof of value generation
- Support the publishing of relevant field data to generate the scientific acceptance of Actizone™ in the Healthcare world
- Introduction of technology to scientific institutions and potential customers in cooperation with Management team of Actizone™
- Support the development of the product format concepts incl support to the regulatory and product stewardship team of Actizone™
- Support the development of the supply chain model
- Support implementation of the direct – to – market model
- Develop and support generation of marketing material in collaboration with the communication team of Solvay/Novecare
Education and Experience
- MS in biological, bioengineering, chemical or health sciences – MBA desirable
- Healthcare/Institutional Cleaning market experience of min 5 years
- Diverse technical knowledge is a plus
Skills
- Field trial/study experience in the healthcare market
- Market/market segment analysis
- Sales & customer acquisition / commercial experience and experience in initiating and managing customer projects
- Entrepreneurial spirit and high agility, strong communication and presentation skills
