Harbin, Heilongjiang Province of China, May 23rd 2018--- Solvay and Beifeng Hengtai Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. (Herein after Beifeng Hengtai) sign a 3-year contract to launch novel fertilizer products coated with Solvay AgRho® NH4 Protect, for major crops of rice and corn in North East China.
Solvay AgRho® NH4 Protect is an eco-friendly liquid formulation and nitrification inhibitor. It prevents leaching of Nitrate and the emissions of Nitrous Oxide, a greenhouse gas 296 times more powerful than CO2. AgRho® NH4 Protect can also be applied on NPK compound, the most popular fertilizer in China.
The strong agronomical performance of AgRho® NH4 Protect has been demonstrated by field trials, conducted for two years by Beifeng Group. Thanks to AgRho® NH4 Protect, Beifeng Hengtai intends to save one fertilizer application for the benefit of the farmers and of the environment.
