Rubber. Ideally suited to aerospace applications. Features and Benefits: Fluoroelastomer rubber with excellent resistance to high temperatures and pressure as well as inherent resistance to prepreg volatile gasses. Excellent physical properties and no need for a lengthy oven post-cure cycle. Can be co-cured with certain silicone rubber compositions to produce a perimeter seal are compatible with standard sealant tape. Can be laminated to silicone rubber sheet to improve resistance to autoclave atmosphere permeation through the silicone sheet. Maximum use temperature 260°C (500°F). Tensile trength 2684 psi. Elongation at break 268%.
