APC (PEI) thermoplastic composite tapes

Solvay’s APC (PEI) is poly(etherimide) Ultem® thermoplastic polymer prepregged by Solvay. APC (PEI) composites may be processed over a wide temperature range using a variety of processing techniques including stamping, diaphragm forming, fiber placement and autoclave forming.
APC (PEI) composites are used where high toughness and ease of fabrication are necessary. Typical applications for Solvay’s APC (PEI) include aircraft and helicopter structures as well as industrial components.
