APC™ (PEI) thermoplastic composite tapes

Solvay’s APC™ (PEI) is poly(etherimide) Ultem® thermoplastic polymer prepregged by Solvay. APC™ (PEI) composites may be processed over a wide temperature range using a variety of processing techniques including stamping, diaphragm forming, fiber placement and autoclave forming.
APC™ (PEI) composites are used where high toughness and ease of fabrication are necessary. Typical applications for Solvay’s APC™ (PEI) include aircraft and helicopter structures as well as industrial components.
