Silicone, latex and elastomer rubber - Ideally suited to very high temperature applications

Features and Benefits
  • Very resistant silicone membrane designed for vacuum processes at high temperatures, due to its high level of elasticity and air resistance.
  • Available vulcanised or non-vulcanised, in the same dimensions, allowing fabrication of vacuum membranes to the exact size of components.
  • Used as a permanent membrane with Solvay vacuum equipment, on which the VCS® or other systems are fitted.
  • A curing of one hour at 150°C/302°F, with no secondary curing, is sufficient to give the material its mechanical characteristics.
  • Vulcanised under pressure for 10 minutes at 110°C/230°F.
  • Available in grey (AS) and clear (AST).
