BPS240 format 2 is a three-part system designed for the manufacture of car body panels with excellent surface quality at cure temperatures between 85 to 150°C (185 to 302°F).
The first ply utilises Solvay’s VTF266 sandable, paint ready surface film. The second ply is made up of 400g/m2 of Solvay’s DForm® prepreg, providing fast lay-up and low print through. The third ply combines low-density syntactic core material and structural fabric to create significant panel rigidity in a rapid laminating format.
Excellent environmental performance can be expected from panels painted in Hi-Bake & Lo-Bake paint systems.
