This grade features a high heat deflection temperature, high flexural modulus and high tensile strength, as well as excellent creep resistance and low moisture absorption. 

Amodel® AE-8935 is a 35% glycol resistant glass-reinforced heat stabilized polyphtalamide (PPA) resin designed to work in the modern automotive electrical environment. It is distinguished by a high heat deflection temperature, high flexural modulus, high tensile strength and low moisture absorbtion. This grade displays excellent resistance to cracks which may occur during thermal shock cycling.

Amodel® AE-8950 is a 50% glass-reinforced polyphthalamide (PPA) designed to work in the modern automotive electrical environment. This grade features a high heat deflection temperature, high flexural modulus and high tensile strength, as well as excellent creep resistance and low moisture absorption. 

Amodel® AFA-6133 V0 Z is a 33% glass-fiber reinforced, flame retardant grade of polyphthalamide (PPA) resin specifically formulated for connector applications requiring compatibility with both infrared and vapor phase soldering operations typically used by the electronics industry. Amodel® AFA-6133 V0 Z offers high flow and short molding cycles, thereby enhancing molding productivity and lowering costs. 

Amodel® AFA-6145 V0 Z is a 45% glass-fiber reinforced, flame retardant grade of polyphthalamide (PPA) resin specifically formulated for connector applications requiring compatibility with both infrared and vapor phase soldering operations typically used by the electronics industry. Amodel® AFA-6145 V0 Z offers high flow and short molding cycles, thereby enhancing molding productivity and lowering costs. 

Amodel® AS-1133 HS is a 33% glass-reinforced, heat stabilized polyphthalamide (PPA) resin that provides excellent structural integrity in molded parts, even those with wall thicknesses greater than 0.125 in (3 mm). Key properties of this structural resin are high heat deflection temperature, high flexural modulus, high tensile strength, excellent creep resistance and low moisture absorption.

This grade was designed specifically to be cost effective for most applications requiring high stiffness, good dimensional stability and chemical resistance. Typical applications for Amodel® AS-1566 HS resin include electrical connectors and housings, motor components, pistons, covers, engine parts and transmission components. 

Amodel® AS-1933 HS is a 33% glass reinforced grade of polyphthalamide (PPA) resin developed specifically for improved performance in a 50/50 ethylene glycol and water environment. This material exceeds the performance required by the automotive industry for polymeric materials exposed to antifreeze at 226°F (108°C), even when tested at 275°F (135°C). Potential applications include a variety of automotive components such as thermostat housings, heater core endcaps, heater hose connectors, and water inlets, outlets and valves.

Amodel® AS-4133 HS is a 33% glass reinforced, lubricated, heat stabilized grade of polyphthalamide (PPA) that offers fast cycle times and moldability in hot water molds. Testing conducted on samples dry as molded and samples conditioned to 50% relative humidity in accordance with ISO-1110, Accelerated Method. Typical applications include electrical and electronic components especially for automotive systems.  

Amodel® AS-4145 HS polyphthalamide (PPA) is a a 45% glass reinforced resin that is hot-water moldable. Key properties include high heat resistance, high strength and stiffness over a broad temperature range, low moisture absorption, excellent chemical resistance and excellent electrical properties. This resin is ideal for automotive electrical and electronic applications, including connectors, sockets, switches and sensors. It is also a good choice for under-hood enclosures that protect critical control systems such as anti-lock brakes, traction control, steering, electronic engine control, transmission and chassis control units. Its rapid crystallization rate and high flow can result in shorter cycles, thereby enhancing molding productivity and lowering costs. 

Amodel® AT-1001L is an unreinforced, impact modified polyphthalamide (PPA) resin that exhibits exceptional impact strength at temperatures ranging from room temperature to as low as -40°F (-40°C), which suggests possible applications in ski boots and hockey skates. In addition, its chemical and wear resistance, combined with good mechanical properties, make Amodel® AT-1001L resin a prime candidate for applications such as anti-friction and wear resistant components, chemical, oil field, automotive and safety equipment. 

Amodel® AT-1002 HS is a neat, toughened, heat stabilized polyphthalamide (PPA) resin that offers superior retention of properties after humid thermal aging; high impact at low temperature and better mechanical properties than many unreinforced thermoplastic polyester and nylon resins. This material was specifically designed for automotive electrical/electronic applications such as connectors, sockets and sensors. 

Amodel® AT-1116 HS polyphthalamide (PPA) is a toughened, heat stabilized 16% glass reinforced resin, designed as a cost effective solution for applications requiring stiffness, good dimensional stability, chemical resistance and ductility. This resin has a high heat deflection temperature and a high flexural modulus, with greater tensile elongation than untoughened glass reinforced PPA. Typical applications include bearings, bearing retainers/cages, housings, chemical processing equipment components, motor frames, sporting equipment, lawn and garden equipment and components that require press-fit or snap-fit assembly. 

Amodel® AT-1125 HS polyphthalamide (PPA) is a toughened, heat stabilized 25% glass reinforced resin, designed as a cost effective solution for applications requiring stiffness, good dimensional stability, chemical resistance and ductility. This resin has a high heat deflection temperature and a high flexural modulus, with greater tensile elongation than untoughened glass-reinforced PPA. Typical applications include bearings, bearing retainers/cages, housings, chemical processing equipment components, motor frames, sporting equipment, lawn and garden equipment and components that require press-fit or snap-fit assembly. 

Amodel® AT-6115 HS is a 15% glass-fiber reinforced, toughened grade of polyphthalamide (PPA) resin designed to possess more elongation than other 15% glass-fiber reinforced grades of Amodel resin. This grade was developed for automotive snap-fit electronic connectors. It offers high flow and short molding cycles.
