Amphoteric surfactant that is suggested as a mild component for personal care or industrial products. Mackam® 1C has a higher actives/solids ratio than traditional amphoterics, which makes this product extremely cost-effective. In personal cleansing formulations such as baby shampoos and bubble bath, Mackam® 1C provides rich foam, has low irritation properties, and is non-defatting. When formulated with anionics, Mackam® 1C typically provides more viscosity than other amphoteric surfactants. Mackam® 1C is stable over a wide pH range which makes it ideal for industrial applications such as liquid dish wash and hard surface cleaners.

One of the mildest amphoteric surfactants of its class and is suggested for both personal care and industrial applications. In personal care formulations such as shampoos, bubble baths, and body cleansers, Mackam® 2C provides a moderate lather and cleans without defatting the skin to give a rich, conditioning effect. Mackam® 2C is stable over a wide pH range which makes it ideal for industrial applications. It is useful for the formulation of products used around food preparation areas, hospital cleaners, and high alkaline hard surface cleaners. Mackam® 2C is frequently used as the only surfactant in products such as premoistened wipes.

Mild amphoteric surfactant with applications in both personal care and industrial cleaners. Due to its excellent coupling properties in personal care products, it is used to couple conditioning agents in shampoos. In its ability to couple non-ionic surfactants into high levels of electrolyte makes Mackam® 2CSF very useful for industrial cleaners. It is suggested for systems where sodium chloride would be detrimental to the performance of the final product or would cause corrosion problems. Mackam® 2CSF is stable over a broad pH range and is the surfactant of choice in high electrolyte systems. Mackam® 2CSF is listed on the EPA’s Inert Ingredients list as: Fatty acids, coco, reaction products with 2-[(2-aminoethyl)amino]ethanol, alkylation products with methyl acrylate, sodium salts.

Alcohol and salt free, mild, amphoteric surfactant with applications in both personal care and industrial formulations. In personalcare products, Mackam® 2CSF-40CG is used to couple conditioning agents into shampoos and body washes. This high foaming surfactant makes it an ideal choice when formulating mild shampoos, baby shampoos, or body washes. Mackam® 2CSF-40CG is also useful in industrial cleaners due to its ability to couple nonionic surfactants into high levels of electrolytes and its broad pH range stability. Mackam® 2CSF-40CG is an ideal choice for systems where sodium chloride would be detrimental to the performance of the final product or would cause corrosion problems. It also has the potential to reduce overall irritation of other surfactants.

Mackam® 35UL HA  contributes outstanding viscosity-building, foam-boosting to personal care and HI&I formulations. It contributes mildness to formulations and is fully biodegradable.

MACKAM® 50 SB is a high performance surfactant that has excellent lime soap dispersing properties and is stable over a wide pH range. It is compatible with anionic, nonionic, amphoteric and cationic surfactants. 

MACKAM® 50 SB exhibits high foaming even in high electrolyte solutions. A glycerine-free grade that works well for quality mild shampoos, high-foaming bath products and liquid soaps.

Mackam® BB-30 is a mild amphoteric surfactant that is derived from babassu oil that is grown organically in the Amazon basin of Brazil and is used as a foamer.

Mackam® CB 35ULS HP is a grade of coco-betaine , it is particularly useful in systems where salt would cause unacceptable corrosion. This product is functional in industrial and household formulations as well as hair and body care products. It is very stable in both acid and alkaline pH systems.

Mackam® CBS 50G is a high performance amphoteric surfactant that can be used in both home care and personal care applications. It is compatible with anionic, nonionic, amphoteric, and cationic surfactants.

In personal care applications, Mackam® CBS 50G exhibits foam and mildness synergies with common anionics and can be used in place of Cocamidopropyl Betaine to boost flash foam and reduce eye irritation potential. In HI&I applications, Mackam® CBS 50G exhibits high foaming even in high electrolyte solutions and is stable in 19% sodium hydroxide. Mackam® CBS 50G is produced from coconut oil and is readily biodegradable.

Mackam® DAB is a high performance amphoteric surfactant based on vegetable lauric acid. Mackam® DAB exhibits high foaming even in high electrolyte solutions and has excellent lime soap dispersing properties. In cosmetics, Mackam® DAB provides a marked viscosity improvement.

Mackam® DAB ULS finds application in personal care products and household where regular Lauramidopropyl Betaine may introduce too much salt to a formulation.

Technical preparation of Lauryl Betaine, a high-foaming amphoteric surfactant that is functional in oilfield, industrial and personal care formulations such as hair and body care products. Mackam® LAB performs well even when formulated at extreme pH levels. Mackam® LAB is biodegradable and exhibits modest conditioning action in shampoos. This grade is low odor, hydrolytically stable and is preservative-free.
