About the role
Our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, composed of 4 people, is integrated in the Digital Technology Security and Center of Expertise and focuses on design, implement and support the Identity and Access Management technologies and processes to secure and provide the right accesses to the right people at the right time with the best user experience, in collaboration with Digital Technology department.
As an Active Directory and Entra ID Engineer, you will work on managing the activities of Directory, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) Services, within high collaboration with other IT teams and business stakeholders to support our internal customers. You will get the opportunity to contribute to Group’s security accesses and compliance and have a positive impact on Solvay Security Transformation. You will be accountable for:
- Service Delivery & Performance: Oversee end-to-end service delivery, ensuring performance meets agreed standards and customer expectations through KPI and metrics monitoring.
- Incident & Change Management: Act as the primary stakeholder contact, serving as the escalation point for major incidents and overseeing service changes in line with change management best practices.
- Service Strategy & Design: Contribute to the service lifecycle roadmap with Architects and Engineers, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and support the creation and negotiation of SLAs and OLAs.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate business and security risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Continuous Improvement & Governance: Drive continuous improvement initiatives through service reviews and audits, ensuring ongoing compliance with standards and policies.

About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology. Relevant work experience of minimum 6 years in IT, business, management operations, or related professional areas; 5 years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, Ping Identity, or other federated identity providers; 5+ years of experience managing third-party and contract labor.
Competencies:
- Fluency in English
- Project management skills to plan and execute Identity-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell); Security Protocols such as OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM; Familiarity with encryption methods and cryptographic protocols to secure authentication processes

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 39440 - € 60500 per year in Portugal.
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
