Making a difference to people, planet, and communities
Within our Philanthropy & Communities program, we support initiatives that strengthen communities, advance STEM education, and contribute to a more sustainable future. Guided by our For Generations roadmap, our actions help advance both ou Better Life and Planet Progress priorities.
Through Better Life, we support initiatives that help people and communities thrive through education, inclusion, well-being, and opportunities for future generations. Through Planet Progress, we support projects that promote environmental stewardship, sustainability awareness, and biodiversity protection.
Whether through STEM education programs that inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers, partnerships such as Pantys that support local communities, or initiatives such as the Solvay Rugby Championship that promote inclusion and well-being, we help create opportunities for people to thrive.
Together with our partners, employees, and communities, we create positive change today. We also help build an essential future for generations to come.
Biodiversity in action at Solvay Brazil
Solvay Brazil’s Sustainability Program brings our commitment to life through long-term biodiversity conservation, habitat restoration, and environmental education initiatives. From reforestation and wildlife protection to preserving native bees, the site shows how industry and nature can coexist. It also supports community learning programs.
Taking action to protect and promote biodiversity
In partnership with Tandem Global (formerly Wildlife Habitat Council), we support efforts to conserve and restore habitats. We also promote employee and community involvement in biodiversity stewardship. By connecting people with nature through hands-on environmental action, these efforts help strengthen local ecosystems and contribute to a more sustainable future.
