Solvay Solidarity Program

At Solvay, supporting people and communities has been part of our heritage since the company's founding. Through the Solvay Solidarity Program, we continue that commitment by helping provide support during times of exceptional hardship, reinforcing the values of solidarity, care, and social responsibility that have guided us for generations. 

As part of our For Generations sustainability roadmap, the program reflects our belief that creating a positive impact extends beyond our technologies and operations. It also means standing alongside employees and communities when they face significant challenges and helping strengthen resilience when support is needed most. 

Built on a longstanding partnership with the Ernest Solvay Fund, hosted by the King Baudouin Foundation, the Solvay Solidarity Program helps address fundamental social needs related to health, education, safety, and well-being.  

The program supports Solvay employees experiencing significant personal hardship, as well as communities connected to our operations that are affected by exceptional events such as pandemics, natural disasters, humanitarian crises, and other unforeseen circumstances. 

When urgent needs arise, the program can help mobilize support for individuals and communities, contributing to recovery efforts and strengthening long-term resilience.
