Exhibition will showcase Solvay as a global leader in clean mobility and resource efficiency
Brussels, September 29, 2021 – Solvay is proud to announce its participation in the Dubai World Fair 2021-2022, which starts on October 1, 2021. Solvay will be an integral part of the exhibition at the Belgian pavilion, which brings together thinkers and entrepreneurs from Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia to sketch their vision for the year 2050 and form the basis of a smart, safe and clean mobility future through innovation.
In the Belgian pavilion, Solvay will focus on its technological solutions for sustainable mobility through digital displays, videos and augmented reality tools. Solvay’s solutions are essential on the path towards more sustainable transportation: replacing metal with lightweight, durable materials in automobiles and aircrafts so they emit less CO2; offering new circular solutions for lithium-ion batteries in electric and hybrid vehicles; providing essential materials for hydrogen fuel cell technology, among others.
“Our scientists in Belgium and around the world are currently working on break-through innovations that can make the impossible possible, and have the power to revolutionize human progress and mobility for the future. Solvay is committed to developing the innovative products that will shape this future. We are proud to represent Belgium’s industry and hope many visitors will discover these groundbreaking innovations in the Belgian pavilion.”
