Solvay launches SIPOMER® PAM 600 Adhesion Monomer

Paris, France, August 7th, 2017- Solvay expands its portfolio of specialty monomers with Sipomer® PAM 600, a new multi-functional adhesion monomer, for waterborne architectural and industrial coatings, inks and adhesives markets.

Sipomer® PAM 600 is designed to answer the needs of the coatings markets for enhanced adhesion on variety of difficult substrates such as aluminum, cold-rolled steel, glass, concrete, wood and inorganic surfaces.

In addition to its exceptional adhesion properties, Sipomer® PAM 600 provides ease of incorporation and it can also be utilized as polymerizable surfactant by itself or in combination with other traditional emulsifiers. 

    

Due to its polymerizable feature, Sipomer® PAM 600 also demonstrates less water sensitivity and reduced surfactant leaching, low foam, corrosion and flash rust resistance and good stability.
