Web info: Solvay announces global price increases by 20% on Isobornyl Cyclohexanol (IBCH) and derivatives

Share to

Effective December 15th 2017,  Solvay Aroma Performance will increase the prices for all its non contracted Isobornyl Cyclohexanol (IBCH) and derivatives products by 20%.

This worldwide price increase is directly linked to the surge of Camphene prices since November 2017.  Camphene is one of the major raw materials for the production of Isobornyl Cyclohexanol and its derivatives.

The stringent environmental measures recently implemented by the Chinese government have a structural impact all along the Camphene and Downstream Turpentine derivatives (Camphor) value chain.
