Brussels, October 12, 2026 – Solvay today announced the launch of Solsys® Care Max, an innovative laundry performance solution designed to help detergent formulators meet one of the biggest shifts in home care: consumers increasingly want to wash clothes faster, at lower temperatures and with lower energy consumption, while maintaining excellent cleaning results.
As households look for ways to reduce energy use, lower utility bills and save time, cold and quick wash programs are becoming a preferred choice. However, these cycles can make it more challenging for detergents to deliver the same level of cleaning performance as traditional wash programs.
Internal research showed that formulations containing Solsys® Care Max enhanced cleaning performance from the very first wash, including at temperatures as low as 4°C. The solution also demonstrated strong effectiveness in short-cycle programs, achieving equal or superior cleaning performance compared with reference formulations in wash cycles as short as 15 minutes.
Beyond improving stain removal, Solsys® Care Max delivers strong grease-cleaning performance while helping preserve fabric appearance over multiple washes, supporting longer-lasting garments and a consistently high-quality laundry experience.
