We collaborate with CANDEX to streamline processes for low-value purchases. It is simple and easy to use tool, that reduces onboarding time and standardizes contracting, invoicing, and payment. Solvay will remain your partner while the Purchase Order and payment is processed by CANDEX.

What does this mean for me as a supplier?

Solvay uses CANDEX for all its low-value purchases and for new vendors. While this choice is made for you, it means you get to work with Solvay with a much simpler and faster process. The conditions remain identical and are Solvay’s General Terms and Conditions for Purchasing.

How it works

CANDEX takes only a few minutes and the details of your order (with PDF download) will be easily accessible when you register. Here is a quick summary of the steps:

Step 1

Receiving a Purchase Order (PO)

When Solvay wants to make a purchase, they send a Purchase Order (PO) to CANDEX for an authorized amount. As a supplier, you will receive an email notification with the details of the PO.

Step 2

Registration and Acceptance

To proceed, you need to register on the CANDEX platform and accept the purchasing terms set by Solvay. This involves providing your bank and tax details, so you can get paid. Your vendor account will be set up and managed through CANDEX.

Step 3

Submitting Invoices

Once registered, you can upload your invoice to CANDEX for up to the authorized amount.

Important : The invoice should be addressed to CANDEX.

Step 4

Payment Process

CANDEX will then verify your invoice and invoice Solvay on your behalf. Once CANDEX receives the payment from Solvay, they will immediately remit the funds to the supplier.

Step 5

Tracking and Support

You can track the status of your orders and payments through the CANDEX platform. If there are any issues or delays with payments, CANDEX will work diligently with Solvay and communicate frequently with you to resolve the problem promptly.
