You’ll use your proficiency in business law to anticipate, prevent and effectively handle any legal issues that may arise. And when you have to deal with challenging situations, you’ll recommend proper legal actions with a successful resolution in mind.
If you’re interested in this role you should come from an academic background in Business Law, ideally complemented by an overseas study period, and have specialized in Environmental Law, European Law or Contract Law.
You’ll advise and support the senior management team in proper company administration and, in particular, its corporate governance, financing and development. You’ll provide your legal expertise in different areas of the law: stock market law, company law, financial law, M&A. As part of this, you’ll recommend, introduce and apply effective policies and procedures in that area.
If you’re interested in this role you should come from an academic background in Business Law or International Law and ideally have specialized in a particular legal area. If you’ve had professional experience overseas that will be a big advantage for you.
Your mission is to protect and enhance the value of Solvay’s technological and commercial assets in terms of intellectual property. It’ll be your responsibility to register things like patents, brands and domain names, and manage the procedures surrounding the patent issue. In addition, you’ll negotiate and draft agreements related to R&D and licenses and manage litigation related to the infringement of these titles.
If you’re interested in this role you should come from an academic background in Chemical Engineering and Law, with an additional specialization in Industrial Property.
