About the role

 

Our Learning & Development and DEI team, composed of 6 people, is integrated in the Global HR department and focuses on building capabilities and fostering inclusivity in collaboration with business leaders and HR partners worldwide.

As a Senior Learning and Development Partner, you will work on global upskilling programs, innovative learning solutions, and stakeholder coaching to support Solvay’s strategic priorities and employee growth. You will get the opportunity to contribute to a strong learning culture and have a positive impact on organizational transformation and individual development.

 

You will be accountable for:

  • Diagnosing learning needs across industrial, leadership, and technical domains.
  • Designing and developing curricula for academies in partnership with subject matter experts and external providers.
  • Defining learning objectives and methodologies (blended, experiential, digital) and curating or creating high-quality content.
  • Coaching stakeholders on L&D best practices and pedagogical approaches.
  • Measuring impact and driving continuous improvement through data and insights.
  • Leveraging learning technologies to enhance learner experience and business outcomes.
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of global programs, budgets, and priorities to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Facilitating learning sessions and training internal trainers to build capability.
  • Collaborating globally with HR partners and business leaders to embed learning into the flow of work.
  • Championing a culture of curiosity and continuous learning across the organization.

 

We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode in Lisbon, Portugal with flexibility to travel. 

 

About you

 

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration. 

Relevant work experience of 5 to 8 years in Learning & Development or Talent Management, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating scalable L&D solutions in a global organization.

  • Influence & Collaboration: Exceptional ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and work effectively across multicultural teams.

  • Digital Learning & Business Acumen: Proficient in modern learning technologies (LMS, LXP, AI solutions) with strong curiosity to integrate business insights into L&D strategies.

  • Fluency in English with French as a strong asset for the role.

About the pay

 

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is:

  • €46,720 to €58,400 per year in Portugal

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
