About the role
Our Procurement operations team is integrated in the Procurement Service Line (PSL) department, and it's an end-to-end process focused on the creation and tracking of purchase orders (PO) and on processing the related supplier invoices.
As a Provisioning and Accounts Payable Operations Representative, you will mainly be accountable for Purchase Orders (PO) creation and follow-up and the invoice accounting process for payments. You will get the opportunity to contribute to our Global Business Services in Lisbon and have a positive impact on the Solvay Group.
You will be accountable for:
- Ensure Purchase Orders timely created
- Follow up the created PO´s and make sure suppliers deliver on time
- Ensure invoice processing in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to handle outstanding payments
- Vendor account reconciliations
- Manage vendor and internal requesters queries via ticket
- To assist on implementing continuous improvement initiatives and supporting it in the organization
We offer a 9-month position renewable contract based on hybrid working mode (2 days in the office per week).
About you
University degree is required, experience in accounting, finance, provisioning, or similar activities is a plus but non-mandatory
Competencies:
- Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory
- Spanish will bring a very much appreciated added value, as well as other foreign languages
- Knowledge and experience working in SAP environment (nice to have), as well as Microsoft 365 tools knowledge

About the pay
The base pay expected for this role is € 1,300 per month (gross amount). Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes other incentives.
