About the role
Our Accounting Platform (ACP) is part of the Finance Service Unit, focused on accounting and reporting activities in collaboration with other Service Units and local teams.
As a Company Accounting Trainee, you will support Global Businesses, Functions and Corporate for decision making, by providing user friendly financial reports (Balance sheets, Cash Flow, Profit and Loss statements), compliant with legal and Group requirements, through standardized, automated and streamlined processes with best efficiency. You will be accountable for:
- Support the closure run for a given legal entity according to closing timetable, perform technical and accounting controls, analyze, solve blocking matters and assist the release of financial package for consolidation
- Perform accounting operations, according to Company Accounting Manager/Director (CAM/CAD) requests, needs and guidelines, in line with accounting standards and closing deadlines
- Perform accounting analysis, provide insights and solve technical accounting issues.
- Liaise a transversal financial topic for a country/region.
- Answer requests from external auditors and participate in small projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
We offer an internship (12 months) contract based on hybrid working mode.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 940 - € 1,040 per month in Portugal.
