About the role  

 

Our Legal Counsel & Business Partnering team, composed of 10 people, focuses on legal support in collaboration with notaries, law firms, internal stakeholders (Finance, HR, Tax) and service providers. 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced In-House Paralegal to provide dedicated support to our legal team. The role is critical to managing our portfolio of international subsidiaries in the EMEA region, with a special focus on the Benelux, and assisting with various legal operations, projects and challenges within the Group.  

 

You will be accountable for : 

 

  • Legal support:  Provide comprehensive day-to-day legal and administrative support, including drafting standard contractual documents, correspondences, minutes, etc. Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and administrative requirements (e.g., UBO, KYC), and supporting the implementation and maintenance of legal technologies and case management systems in collaboration with the Group Legal Operations team. 

 

  • Legal research:   Conduct legal research and monitor legislative developments relevant to the Group’s activities. 

 

  • Corporate housekeeping & Entities management:  Ensure the accuracy and completeness of   corporate records and documentation for the Group’s international entities and Benelux subsidiaries (e.g., articles of association, powers of attorney, board resolutions, shareholder minutes) and coordinate corporate filings and publications with local legal registries. 

 

  • Contract Support:  Support the drafting and review of standard contractual documents (e.g., NDAs, service agreements) under Legal Counsel supervision, ensure proper filing and management of contracts, coordinate relationships with external counsel (RfQs, engagement letters), and process legal invoices while assisting with budget tracking. 

 

  • Support with stakeholders:  Act as a key point of contact for external notaries, law firms, internal stakeholders (Finance, HR, Tax) and service providers, while managing expense reports and coordinating the scheduling, logistics, and follow-up of Legal Team meetings. 

 

We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode. You will work at the head office of the company in Brussels (Neder-Over-Heembeek).    

 

About you  

 

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in law (or Legal Studies) or a recognized Paralegal/Legal Assistant Certificate. Relevant experience as a Paralegal or in a similar function. 

 

Competencies: 

  • Strong understanding of Belgian legal principles and the Belgian judicial and administrative organization.  

  • Technical Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and affinity with the use and optimization of legal data base as well as legal AI/administrative IT tools. 

  • Fluency, written and verbally, in English and French, Dutch is a plus.

About the pay 

 

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is €65 000 - €88 000 per year in Belgium.  

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
