April 16, 2015 - Woodland Park, NJ, Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today that its board of Directors elected Dr. Carmelo Lo Faro as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Cytec Industries Inc. effective immediately. In this capacity, Carmelo will have the responsibility for driving the company’s technology and innovation strategy as well as collaborating with key partners including customers, suppliers, and the academic community. He will become a member of Cytec’s Executive Leadership Team.Dr. Lo Faro joined Cytec in 2001 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in our technology organization, with his most recent position as VP of Technology, Aerospace and Industrial Materials.Shane Fleming, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer commented, “Carmelo has provided excellent leadership to the technology organization and is widely recognized and respected in his field.
