Senior Account Manager LATAM (M/F/X)

About the role

  • Our Solvents Sales Team in LATAM, integrated in the Coatis GBU, focuses on growing sales of Oxygenated Solvents through close collaboration with other functions.
  • As a Market Manager Latam Solvents, you will work on managing distribution channels, developing new business, and executing sales strategies to support sales growth across Latin America. You will get the opportunity to contribute to expanding market share and have a positive impact on customer satisfaction and business profitability.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • Managing distribution channels to ensure top performance and achieve KPIs.
    • Developing and monitoring the sales budget for the LATAM region.
    • Engaging in business development activities and executing sales strategies.
    • Performing regular sales activities, including contract negotiations, forecasting, and managing order books.
    • Conducting market intelligence, including competitor analysis and industry trend monitoring.
  • We offer a permanent contract based on a travel working mode.

 

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 6 years of experience in sales, marketing or new business development within commodities and chemical specialties and also experience working in the Distribution market.
  • Competencies:
    • Project management, leadership skills, and business acumen.
    • Ability to educate customers on technical and commercial aspects with excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build close, trusting relationships at various levels with customers, fostering loyalty and long-term engagement.
    • Excellent communication in Portuguese, Spanish and English, coupled with empathy and active listening
  • Behaviors:
    • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a "hunter" spirit.
    • Excellent team player, capable of working effectively across different functions and teams.
    • Ability to handle crises rationally and strategically, fostering motivation and a positive atmosphere.

 

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base Brazil pay reasonably expected for this role is R$ 206.640,00 to R$ 258.300,00 (with 13o included), your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
