About the role
Our Solvay Peroxythai- Map Ta Phut team, composed of 33 people, This role is integrated in the Quality department and focuses on Quality system compliance in collaboration with the operation team locally and Global team colleagues.
As a Quality Unit Lead, you will be responsible for quality compliance of BICAR® product (Sodium Bicarbonate) in several product grades for various applications; Pharmaceutical (API and Non-API), Food, Animal feed and technical grade. To ensure all operational activities comply with quality system requirements and related regulations. You will get the opportunity to lead an improvement and have a positive impact on the quality of the product. You will be accountable for:
Oversee and manage all Quality activities in compliance with related requirements and regulations; develop, implement and maintain Quality systems and quality improvement initiatives; and manage operations to achieve quality performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Production, Laboratory, Maintenance, Supply chain, Technical support and Global Quality team) to ensure operations comply with quality standards.
Lead internal and external audits (from Authority, Certified Body and Customer) and ensure continuous compliance at all times.
Manage Customer complaints, Deviations, Out of Specifications (OOS) and Management of Change (MOC) to ensure proper and effective handling; conduct and overview root cause analysis, as well as corrective and preventive action plans for internal issues or external audit findings, ensuring their proper and effective implementation.
Responsible for GxP training programs (for quality teams and plant-related parties) to ensure their competency and quality system awareness; develop, implement and maintain quality system documents, and review/approve GxP-related documents for compliance; update and maintain the plant’s Manufacturing License, Product License and Quality Standard Certification; continuously monitor regulatory updates to keep the organization compliant; collaborate with commercial/technical teams (to ensure product quality compliance, meet customer expectations and target country regulations, and support overseas product registration) and Global Quality team (to ensure product quality compliance with international standards and Solvay standards); manage quality unit staff, departmental budget and improvement funds; and undertake other assigned special projects.
We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.
About you
Relevant Bachelor or higher education degree or equivalent in pharmacy. Relevant at least 8 years working experience in management of Quality assurance in pharmaceutical industries.
Competencies:
Expertise and experience in international pharmaceutical standards and quality systems and related regulation. (eg. Drug Act, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Distribution practice, Validation/Qualification and GxP for Pharmaceutical substance/product and Pharmacepoeia).
Knowledge and experience in other quality standards such as ISO, CEP, GHP/HACCP, FSSC 22000, GMP+ that are related to Food and Animal feed scope will be an advantage.
Excellent communication in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing). Proficient in computer skill and experience ERP software.
A valid pharmacist license is required. (Thai Pharmacist license)

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay reasonably expected for this role is 74,794 THB to 93,323 THB in Thailand. Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
