About the role
Our Group safety team, composed of 15 people, is integrated in the Operations department.
As a Safety Performance & Reporting Analyst, you will work on enhancing our global safety data capabilities. You will be accountable for:
- Safety Data Landscape Architecture & Strategy: Lead the assessment, design, and strategic management of the Group Safety function's data architecture in collaboration with Digital Technology (DT) and the transformation team, extending across the broader organization to ensure robust and scalable safety data infrastructure.
- Data Stream Optimization & Implementation: Based on architectural assessments, specify, design, and implement streamlined data collection, processing, and reporting workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Strategic Digital Roadmap Development: Develop and drive a forward-looking strategic roadmap for the continuous evolution and enhancement of our safety data performance and reporting capabilities, incorporating emerging technologies and best practices.
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Domain Expertise: On top of the Transformation and DT team, actively collaborate with Safety SMEs (covering areas such as Safety Culture, Risk Management, Process Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Asset Integrity, and other technical domains) to gain in-depth domain knowledge, facilitating critical interpretation of complex safety data.
- Actionable Insights & Executive Reporting: Partner with Safety SMEs to meticulously interpret data and translate technical and domain-specific insights into clear, concise, and compelling information, enabling sound, data-driven decisions for executive leadership and the business.

About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or a related quantitative field. Relevant work experience in assessing, designing, and managing complex data streams and architectures within a large, multi-site, global organization or specific safety management information systems (SMIS) or EHS software.
Competencies:
- Strong strategic understanding of data architecture principles and their application in an enterprise environment.
- Solid understanding of safety processes, operational systems, and routines that underpin data creation and collection, and their impact on operations, and reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to specify, design, and implement efficient and scalable data collection and reporting processes.
- Track record of translating complex technical data insights and safety information, in partnership with SMEs, into clear, compelling, and actionable information for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive audiences.

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is:
- € 84,640 - € 122,800 per year in Belgium
- € 46,720 - € 73,000 per year in Portugal
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
