About the role
Our Breakthrough Innovation team, composed of 7 people, is integrated in the Peroxides R&I department and focuses on breakthrough developments and decarbonization in collaboration with external technology providers, academia, and internal engineering/production teams.
As a Breakthrough Innovation Researcher - New technology, you will work on designing and synthesizing novel materials and processes, executing complex chemistry experiments and analysis, and proposing innovative hypotheses to support the GBU Peroxides strategy through disruptive technology development. You will have the opportunity to contribute to transforming fundamental science into commercially viable solutions and positively impact the creation of a new market for H2O2 and the advancement of sustainable technology.

About you
Master or PhD degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
Relevant work experience in R&D in a lab environment or new technology/new product development and scale-up (an asset).

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is: €70,000- €85,000 per year in Belgium.
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
