Procurement Transversal Assistant (F/M/X)

About the role

 

Our Transversal Procurement team, composed of 6 people, is integrated in the Procurement department and focuses on delivering accounts payable operations in collaboration with other Procurement teams and the Finance department.

 

As a Procurement Transversal Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering accounts payable operations in collaboration with other Procurement teams, as well as other departments, such as Finance. You will get the opportunity to strive for the continuous improvement of the activities in which you are involved by submitting/generating ideas, directly contributing to our Procurement excellence. You will be accountable for:

  • Post invoices in SAP MM, FI, and Self-Billing modules; reconcile statements and perform account clearing.
  • Generate reports and ensure timely, compliant execution of Accounts Payable operations.
  • Apply and enforce Solvay’s internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Finance, HR, suppliers, and auditors.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through user feedback and maintain knowledge of policies and tools.

About you

 

Degree in Purchasing, Business Management, Accounting, Finance  or similar
Minimum of 1-3  years of experience in Procurement or Accounting environment

 

Competencies:

 

  • Strong data management and analytical skills, with proficiency in SAP ERP and Excel, and a focus on accuracy.
  • Effective in process formalization, organization, and navigating complex environments with a proactive, customer-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including fluency in English and cross-level engagement.

About the pay 


Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is R$ 3.532,00 to R$ 4415,00 per month in Brazil


Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
