The Group held a webinar focused on its peroxides activities, to be a part of the future EssentialCo
2022 Solvay held a webinar for the investment community on its Peroxides activities that will be part of the future EssentialCo. This webinar marked a continuation of Solvay’s series that began in December 2021 with an One Planet roadmap update, followed by the materials supplied to the Automotive and battery industry and its activities related to the Consumer markets.
In this webinar, management explained the potential to grow Peroxides sales organically by more than 5% over the next 5 years while maintaining cash conversion above 80%, driven by:
- Unique technological process recognised as being “best-in-class” - delivering lowest cost, high purity, and greatest reliability with a very high level of safety.
- Proven expertise with mega-plants, built into integrated chemical complexes, producing H2O2 as feedstock for propylene oxide in the framework of HPPO (or Hydrogen Peroxide to Propylene Oxide) partnerships.
- Exposure to the most attractive market segments in peroxides, with products used in a wide variety of established and newer, innovative applications like electronics, battery recycling, and urban mining applications, where H2O2 can be an effective and sustainable enabler to these emerging markets.
