Product only available in Brazil Rhodia Brasil S.A., a Solvay Group Company, is a B2B (Business to Business) company, i.e., it is an intermediate company in the value chain that sells its products to other companies and does not sell directly to the final consumer. Aiming the carbon emissions neutralization of its products, Rhodia measures by means of a certifying entity the carbon emissions arising from the production of its products, since the extraction of raw materials until the commercialization of such products by Rhodia, and buys carbon credits generated by reduction emissions projects to offset the remaining emissions. This is a way to contribute to the net-zero achievement in the value chain as a cradle-to-gate company. If our customers and/or customers of our customers want to announce that their products are composed by products that neutralize their carbon emissions, they must reduce and offset the downstream emissions after Rhodia’s gate and verify the compliance with the product neutrality claim legislation of the countries they market their products.
