Rhodianyl® BIO 27 C 00 D is an innovative PA56 engineering polymer containing 47% renewable content on a molecular-weight basis. Produced from bio-based PMD (1,5-pentanediamine) derived from corn biomass and adipic acid, it combines performance, processability, and sustainability for engineering plastics. The renewable content in Rhodianyl® BIO 27 C 00 D contributes to the incorporation of biogenic carbon into the polymer structure. By leveraging corn-based biomass as a feedstock for bio-based PMD production, the material supports the transition toward more sustainable material solutions and increased use of renewable resources.
