Isopropanol (IPA)
Isopropanol (IPA) is a clear, non-corrosive, colorless and volatile liquid, commonly known as isopropyl alcohol or 2-propanol that can be used in many applications due to its germicidal characteristics, degrease power and miscible with the most common organic solvents, including chlorinated solvents.
When used correctly, it kills a significant number of bacteria and other contaminants, which is why it is used as a hand sanitizer in laboratories, hospitals and also in cleaning formulations.

Hexylene Glycol or HGL is an oxygenated solvent derived from acetone which has two alcohol functions. It has a low evaporation rate and it is completely miscible with water.
Hexylene Glycol is widely applied to cosmetics due to humectant, emulsifying and cleansing properties.
