New three-year partnership applies social credits to measure and scale improvements in people’s daily lives.
Solvay and Pantys, a global Femtech apparel brand, are strengthening their collaboration through a new three-year partnership to advance menstrual health and inclusion, while scaling the use of social credits to measure social impact.
Building on their partnership since 2017, the collaboration combines Solvay’s sustainable chemistry with Pantys’ products designed to improve daily life for people with menstrual or incontinence needs. Pantys develops reusable, clinically tested underwear aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with a strong focus on health, inclusion and reduced environmental impact. Solvay contributes with its Amni Soul Eco® technology, supporting more sustainable and high-performance textiles.
Under the agreement, Pantys will scale programs for vulnerable communities through product donations and education, with Solvay’s funding.
A core innovation of the extended partnership is the generation of social credits, which are independently verified units reflecting concrete improvements in people’s daily lives, such as attending school during menstruation, gaining time to work or study, or improving health and well-being. The social impact is measured using the W+ Standard developed by WOCAN, and verified by independent third parties, with credits recorded on the S&P Global registry to ensure transparency and traceability.
Solvay’s financial contribution will support the launch of Pantys’ social credits. Pantys expects to reach around 7,000 people and generate 40,000 credits in 2026, with plans to expand the program to over 70,000 people and up to 450,000 credits by 2028.
