About the role
As a Product & Asset Manager Silica/SpeChem, you will manage portfolio & profitability optimization and competitive intelligence to support both Silica and SpeChem businesses.
You will be accountable for:
Gathering, analyzing and interpreting data on competitor's product offerings, pricing strategies, marketing positioning and performance
Developing comprehensive reports summarizing intelligence findings and delivering recommendations on how to leverage opportunities or mitigate risks
Driving detailed portfolio analysis to segment products and propose option to improve margins for outliers
Developing and applying product lifecycle management process (new product, customer specific requirements and product rationalization plans)
Developing midterm capacity planning and supporting Capex investment analysis and decision process
We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Science, chemical engineering or finance
Relevant work experience in preferably a combination of industrial and consulting
Competencies:
Strong business acumen: understanding market dynamics and how to drive profitability
Experience in investment financial analysis
At ease with digital tools (SAP, Salesforce)
Behaviors:
Result oriented, bias for decision and action
Analytical, able to navigate between big pictures and details
Exceptional interpersonal skills, collaborative with strong impact and influence and ability to work across organization boundaries
About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (France) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 88 000 euros to 119 000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
