About the role
Our Energy Management System team, composed of 6 people, is integrated in the Business Support Activities Energy department and focuses on designing and maintaining systems to support the challenges of energy management within the Group.
In particular, our team is involved in the global process of CO2 reporting.
As a Data Structure & Dashboard intern, you will work on the data structuring, the design and the development of new dashboards to support the global process of CO2 reporting.
You will be accountable for:
Collaborating with the team to design, document and implement efficient data structures,
Identifying and implementing required data calculations,
Ensuring data integrity, scalability and performance,
Designing and developing interactive dashboards,
Ensuring user-friendliness for non-technical stakeholders,
Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during development.
We offer an internship (3 months) contract based on onsite working mode. Solvay is looking for a 3 months intern to work on the data structuration and the creation of PowerBI dashboards to enhance the CO2 reporting process.
About you
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
Competencies:
Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases,
Familiarity with PowerBI or similar BI tools,
Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms,
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is beneficial.
