Solvay Citizen Day 2020

Solvay’s second Citizen Day, in 2020, focused on promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education worldwide. With so many educational institutions forced to shut down by the Covid-19 pandemic, we believed supporting education was more important than ever. Around the world, our employees reached out to schools and universities to inspire, influence, and impact their local communities.

Solvay employees worked with global education initiatives to create inspirational videos and build the Future Innovator’s Library. This virtual platform, created in partnership with the NGO greenlight for girls (g4g), serves as an evergreen e-learning library and is accessible to all.
