IndustriALL: Corporate Social Responsibility framework agreement

Solvay has a long-term corporate social responsibility (CSR) framework agreement with IndustriALL Global Union, the fundamental principles of which we also expect our suppliers and subcontractors to respect. Under the agreement, we commit to uphold the social standards defined by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and to comply with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact in all of our operations worldwide, including in countries which have not yet ratified these conventions. We also commit to following the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD) guidelines for multinational enterprises.

The agreement reinforces Solvay’s existing commitments relating to health and safety at work, anti-discrimination, diversity, environmental protection, mental health at work, and societal actions.
