Solvay Specialty Polymers Appoints Nevicolor to Distribute Ryton® PPS in Italy

BOLLATE, Italy, May 18, 2016– With immediate effect, Solvays, a leading global supplier of high-performance thermoplastics, announces the appointment of Nevicolor S.p.A. as distributor of its entire Ryton® polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) product line in Italy.  This significantly expands the broad portfolio of Solvay’s specialty polymers currently distributed by Nevicolor through its direct sales force across all Italian regions.

The collaboration with Nevicolor in Italy began in the 1980s with the distribution of Solvay Specialty Polymers’ Ixef® polyarylamide (PARA) product line. Today, Nevicolor also distributes Solvay’s  Solef® polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), Amodel® polyphthalamide (PPA), Halar® ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer (ECTFE), Polymist® polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micronized powders, Hyflon® perfluoroalkoxy (PFA/MFA®), KetaSpire® polyetheretherketone (PEEK), AvaSpire® polyaryletherketone (PAEK), Omnix® and Kalix® high-performance polyamides (HPPA).
