BISPHENOL A EPOXY: is solid at room temperature, in the form of prills, white – peal, white to yellow and with a slight phenolic odour.

It is alcohol, ketone and ether soluble but presents low solubility in water and carbon tetrachloride.


Bisphenol A Epoxy is widely used in the manufacture of: Epoxy resins; Phenolic resins and Polyester resins.

Bisphenol A Epoxy is also used as additive for the following applications:

  • Anti-oxidizing and color stabilizer to hydaulic fluids,
  • PVC, natural and synthetic rubber, polyethylene, etc
  • Fungicide in textile industries
  • Bactericide
  • Termo-reactive paper
  • Dyeing auxiliary.
