CASO® FEED FLAKES

CASO® Feed, calcium chloride, the best of anionic salts for animal feed, is used as Ca source in several feed mixes, because of its high bio-availability, solubility, and digestibility. It acts as a negative cation-anion balance, being extremely useful in certain periods (DCAD of calcium chloride is -18,029 mEq/kg DM). caso®feed is a pure and synthetic dihydrated calcium chloride in compliance with the purity requirements established by European Directive 2002/32/EC and its amendments on undesirable substances in animal feed. Calcium chloride is classified as mineral raw material for feed uses according to European Regulation N° 68/2013 (Raw Material N° 11.1.6). caso®feed is manufactured under HACCP conditions as required by the European Regulations 178/2002/EC and 183/2005/EC and their amendments. To guarantee traceability and safety of the entire feed chain in which the product is used, the production plant is registered in Italy and included in the list of feed material producers, and finally identified with the code IT000023LI. caso®feed is an inorganic salt and no additives, neither organics nor inorganics, are intentionally added during the whole manufacturing process. RECOMMENDED DOSES. Sows, reduce the risks of urinary infection: 12 to 15 grams per day (or 0.5% of daily intake) for at least 7 days and until 21 days during the preparation period prior to parturition - Dry Cows, to reduce milk fever: 100 grams per day for 21 days during the prepartum phase or at least 7 last days before calving - Lambs, prevent urinary calculi: 0.5% up to 2% during fattening.
