Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK)

METHYLISOBUTYLKETONE (MIBK) has wide range of applications in paints and varnishes and good solubility, mainly in nitrocellulose lacquers, alkyd and vinyl resins, generally used in Asphalt paints, Automotive paints, Anti-corrosive (Industrial) paints and Leather finishing. MIBK is also used as a synthesis intermediate for rubber and in the separation of paraffin in refineries.
