About the role

  • Our Engineering team, composed of 11 people, is integrated in the Plant Operations department and focuses on optimizing industrial process control systems in collaboration with production and maintenance teams.
  • As a Process Control Engineer, you will work on designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems to support efficient and safe plant operations. You will get the opportunity to contribute to advanced digitization efforts and have a positive impact on process performance and stability.

  • You will be accountable for:
    • Developing and implementing control systems for plant processes.
    • Improving the efficiency and reliability of production processes by optimizing existing control systems.
    • Identifying and resolving long-term issues related to process control systems.
    • Reporting on all Process Control Excellence projects' status and cost savings.
    • Researching and investigating new methodologies for advantageous applications.
  • We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode, featuring a 4x10 work schedule (Monday to Thursday).

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or electrical engineering from a four-year accredited college or university
  • Other engineering or technical degrees from a four-year accredited college or university with chemical manufacturing experience will also be considered
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in process or industrial/manufacturing plant
  • Effective controls design expertise
  • Competencies:
    • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve problems with innovative approaches.
    • Knowledge of advanced process control (APC) techniques.
    • Expertise in process control systems and technologies, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
  • Behaviors:
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Innovative, highly motivated self-starter.
    • Ability to find and develop process improvements and assume responsibility for plant projects.

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the United States base pay reasonably expected for this role is $100,000 to $135,000, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
